Automec, Inc., located in Waltham, Massachusetts, was founded in 1969 and incorporated in 1971. Automec is celebrating its 50th year of business in 2019! Automec manufactures and sells CNC controls and gauging systems, primarily for the Metal Fabrication Industry. Our controls and gauging systems improve the operator productivity on a machine such as a press brake or shear. We eliminate the need for manual measuring, machine adjustments, or re-working parts through our fully-integrated systems.
Looking for a brand new machine? Automec is partnered with CoastOne of Finland, and is their USA Certified Importer. CoastOne is a trusted name in servo-electric press brakes, ranging from small 25 ton machines up to large 150 ton machines. These press brakes use ball screw and servo motors to administer the bending force, which complements our retrofit technology perfectly. Automec handles all support and service for our CoastOne customers.

The CNC600 is the latest control in our product line. It is used for upgrading our existing systems out in the field, or it can be configured with complete new backgauge systems. This control offers a 15” full-touch screen display and a number of modern features, while maintaining Automec’s beloved simplistic-style programming.
