Wintriss Introduces New AI-Assistant

New Artificial Intelligence Tool Offers Discovery Experience on Wintriss Technology, Knowledge

Wintriss Controls Group has introduced the new Wintriss AI-Assistant* to help customers easily and quickly obtain insight on their Wintriss-related technical questions such as about press controls, die protection, clutch/ brake controls, safety light curtains, data collection and production tracking software, and more. The AI-Assistant searches through every Wintriss manual, seminar, presentation, article, and whitepaper to generate correct, direct answers.

“While AI is not a substitute for real intelligence, we are excited to roll out the new Wintriss AI-Assistant to help quickly answer technical questions, at any time of the day, in any language,” said Mr. Jim Finnerty, Product Manager, Wintriss Controls Group. 

To interact with the AI assistant, users should input their question into the “Ask me something” field located at the bottom of the AI-Assistant webpage. The software accepts both full sentence questions and keyword-based prompts. For example, entering "Program Green Flex sensor" will yield comparable results to "How do I program a Green Flex sensor type?". The AI-Assistant also supports different languages if asked to answer in a specific language.

The software retains the user’s most recent question to support continuity in the interaction. The AI-Assistant provides traceable source information, informing users of the Wintriss resource it pulled from to answer their questions. Additionally, the software offers supplementary information such as specific extracts, diagrams, or page references from Wintriss manuals and case studies for users who are looking for more in-depth answers.
