Wintriss Controls Group has introduced the WPC APEX Clutch/Brake Press Control, a next generation controller that includes many new and enhanced features to provide metalformers with a safe, comprehensive, and automation-friendly solution.

To maximize productivity, the WPC APEX includes capabilities such as die protection inputs, expanded programmable limit switch outputs, setup memory, and additional user interlocks including seven cross-checked pairs for safety applications. The WPC APEX features a modern intuitive touchscreen HMl, five separate E-stop inputs with custom naming, and dedicated top dead center and bottom dead center outputs.
Other enhancements include inputs for up to four operator stations, as well as inputs for up to four sets of safety light curtains. All settings are password-protected and secured with a key switch.
The WPC APEX is compatible with Wintriss SmartPAC 2, Wintriss SmartPAC PRO, Wintriss WPC Option 1, WPC Option 2, and WPC Clock display when running in legacy mode. The WPC Apex meets or exceeds all ANSI B11.1-2009 and OSHA 1910.217 regulations, including Control Reliability.
