VTW Installs New AMADA Fiber-Laser Punch-Fiber Laser Combination

Versatility Tool Works & Manufacturing is enhancing its capabilities with the new Amada EML 2515 fiber punch-laser combination machine. This advanced technology enables 24/7 operation, significantly improving throughput and reducing per-part costs.

Key customer benefits include:

  • Reduced Lead Times: The system's speed, running 2.5 to 4.0 times faster than traditional CO2 lasers, accelerates production.
  • Increased Capacity: With high-speed punching at 500 hits per minute and a 44-station turret, the machine allows for complex parts to be produced in one setup.
  • Material Efficiency: The fiber laser optimizes material usage while ensuring precise tolerances of +/-0.1 mm.
  • Higher Precision: Improved accuracy in cutting mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and brass results in superior products.
  • Minimal Downtime: Automated part separation technology enables continuous operation with minimal human intervention, enhancing overall efficiency.
  • This investment ultimately provides customers with faster turnaround times, enhanced product quality, and a streamlined manufacturing process.

Should be up and running by September, 2026.
