Red Bud Industries held a two-day Seminar at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 29-30, 2025. The seminar was very well attended, drawing over 90 attendees from across the U.S. Day one of the seminar covered many aspects of coil processing including Building Automation, Slitting, Leveling, Blanking, and Equipment Automation and wrapped up with an evening at the Memphis Redbirds game.
Day two of the seminar included tours of two facilities in Blytheville, Arkansas. The first tour gave attendees the opportunity to see a new .500” (12.7 mm) x 84” (2134 mm) Heavy Gauge Slitting Line at JMS Russel Metals. During the second tour, attendees were able to view Majestic Steel USA’s new .187” (4.7 mm) x 72” (1829 mm) High Speed Multi-Blanking Line and their new High Speed .060” (1.5 mm) x 72” (1829 mm) Cut-To-Length/Blanking Line.
