O’Neal Industries (ONI) announced a series of leadership transitions designed to position the company for continued growth and long‑term success. These changes reflect ONI’s thoughtful succession planning and its commitment to sustaining the operational excellence that has defined the organization for generations.
Effective immediately, the following updates will take place:
• Stephen Armstrong has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.
• Ruffner Page assumes the role of Chief Executive Officer, where he will provide strategic direction for the organization.
• Craft O'Neal transitions to Executive Chairman, where will remain actively involved in the company's overall strategy, operations, and long-range planning.
Stephen brings extensive experience to his new role as President and COO. Since joining O’Neal Steel in 2006, he has served in several key positions, including Vice President of Administration, Chief Financial Officer, President and CEO, and since 2020 as ONI Executive Vice President. His understanding of sales, operations, finance, and technology provides a strong foundation for leading ONI.
"This transition reflects our commitment to developing leaders who understand the full breadth of our capabilities and can guide our companies through evolving market demands," said Ruffner Page, CEO. " Stephen’s expanded responsibilities will allow him to gain deeper insight into all of our affiliate companies while continuing to drive excellence and innovation across the organization.”
While these updates represent an important milestone in ONI’s succession planning, the company’s core values and its commitment to its team, customers, and long‑term vision remain unchanged.
"Stephen’s proven track record, strategic mindset, and deep knowledge of our business make him uniquely qualified to lead our operations into the next era," said Craft O'Neal. “I look forward to working alongside Stephen, Ruffner, and our entire leadership team as we continue to grow and strengthen our family of companies."
