AIDA-America, metal stamping press manufacturer in Dayton, OH, USA, is pleased to partner with Fontaine Spray Suppression (FSS). FFS is the North American leader for spray suppression products to the trucking industry, headquartered in Springfield, TN. They recently installed an automated cell featuring two AIDA model NC1-2000(2) gap frame mechanical presses. FSS Engineering Manager Rick Buckelew and his Team were instrumental from conception to completion of this new cell. FSS’s new 200 Metric ton AIDA presses replaced progressive die presses. Upgrading to a new system and eliminating the coil line reduced the floor space required. Their new, more efficient automated cell stamps quarter fenders with a 35% production increase over FSS’s previous production method.
