ESAB creates the ultimate field trip for two local high schools

ESAB recently hosted two local high schools at its Denton, Texas facility. Twelve students and two instructors toured the facility as part of ESAB’s Future Fabricators Program created to support and inspire welding students, educators and institutions. (Pictured here) Austin Hargett and Beau Wigington, Weld.com, demonstrate AC TIG welding on aluminum. Jake LeGrand, owner of LeGrand Metal Works and an ESAB brand ambassador, conducted a session on plasma cutting tips and techniques. ESAB application and engineer Justin Lafond taught students how to stick, MIG and flux-cored arc weld with ESAB equipment.
