Honors from the South Florida Sun Sentinel recognize AWS’s People-First Workplace Culture
The American Welding Society (AWS) has been recognized as a 2026 Top Workplace by the South Florida Sun Sentinel for its second year regionally, and its first as a nonprofit industry leader.
The awards are based solely on employee feedback gathered through a confidential survey conducted by Energage, which measures key aspects of workplace culture including leadership, communication, alignment, engagement, and employee connection to organizational goals.
AWS credits its employees for helping make it both a leader in the welding industry, and a workplace where people are proud to contribute every day.

As a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the science, technology, and application of welding and allied joining processes, AWS supports the welding community through education, certification, standards development, and workforce initiatives.
