Workshops for Warriors success stories: Dylan, class of 2015

January 14, 2016 - Dylan, 21, a Bulk Fueler in the US Marines Corps, has a smooth transition lined up for entering the civilian workforce. He plans on moving back to his hometown of Pittsgrove, New Jersey, in July, 2016, where he will work as a machinist in a family-run machine shop called DDS Design.

January 4, 2016 - Ryan, 25, was a hospital Corpsman in the US Navy who had been struggling to make a successful transition into the civilian workforce. After listening to Hernán Luis y Prado, the Founder and President of Workshops for Warriors, give a speech at the Capital Area Manufacturing Council Executive Meeting in Michigan, Ryan discovered a new motivation with new goals.

December 8, 2015 - Verenice was trained as a welder through Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) school for six months. In MOS school, three or four women welders joined her. She said to be a woman welder feels good because you know you can do the job a man does just as well or even better.
