Sheet Metal Supply, a fabricator and supplier of an extensive array of custom metal construction products, has invested in new equipment to expand its capability into even heavier metal products.

The company’s Mazak Nexus Fiber S7 laser cuts 1-inch stainless steel and mild steel, as well as 3/4-inch aluminum and copper. The Amada EMK 3612 MII turret punches aluminum and mild steel up to 3/16-inches (.190 inches) thick and the 130-metric ton SafanDarley press brake allows SMS to form aluminum up to 1/2-inch. Sheet Metal Supply has the ability to cut 20-foot lengths of 1/4-inch aluminum and mild steel with its AccurShear 625020 and can punch 3/8-inch-thick aluminum with its Amada Coma-567 turret.

With this equipment, Sheet Metal Supply can offer heavier gauges of substructural as well as structural components and outriggers, plus heavier and more durable façade panels and planters.
