Orbital wrapper manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC has introduced a new counterbalancing system on its TAB Wrapper Tornado orbital wrapping machines. Devised to ensure the stretch wrap dispensing unit rotates smoothly within the wrapping ring, the new counterbalance design replaces a fixed weight on the wrapping ring with a steel bar laminated into the wrapping ring to more evenly distribute the weight around the circumference of the ring. The design upgrade effectively compensates for the opposing weight of the stretch wrap dispensing unit and reduces the potential for vibrations during operation.

Introduced at at FABTECH 2023, the clever counterbalance design is included as standard on all TAB Wrapper Tornado orbital stretch wrapper models. The patented orbital wrappers comprise a range of semi-automated to fully automated models that apply stretch wrap 360 degrees around and under a pallet and load to create a stable, secure load in one minute or less without boxes, crates, or banding. The stretch wrap machines are designed and manufactured at the company's Reading, Pa. headquarters and delivered ready to operate with a full warranty.
