June 27, 2022 - O’Neal Manufacturing Services (OMS) has opened a 130,000-square-foot steel fabrication center in Fayette, Alabama. The company plans to invest more than $4 million in capital expenditures and hire up to 80 people to staff the facility. O’Neal Manufacturing Services provides quality production and manufacturing redundancy for OEMs engaged in heavy equipment industries such as truck and trailer, agricultural equipment, material handling. The addition of the Fayette fabrication facility brings the company’s total North American locations to nine, including at corporate headquarters in Birmingham, Alabama. The Fayette plant features robotic and manual welding stations, a beam-cutting line, wet paint booth, press brakes, laser cutting, and saw cutting capabilities to support medium to heavy gauge steel fabrication.
