July 30, 2021 - Capital Machine Technologies Inc., Tampa, Florida, is excited to announce its new partnership with Flex Machine Tools. The company’s history dates back to 1971 when Richard Kennedy designed a tapping arm to increase speed and efficiencies when tapping holes off his NC machine centers. Fast forward nearly 50 years, the perfected design of the arm, motor, and tooling has become Flex Machine Tools; still building innovative & high performing machine tool solutions three generations later.

Capital will exclusively distribute the FlexCNC Vertical Machine Center (VMC) line within its twelve-state territory, including Florida, Georgia, Texas, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

The FlexCNC VMC ranges in size from 10’ to 80’ long. In addition to their standard sizes, they also design and build custom machines to suit customer needs. These machines are capable of high-speed drilling and milling of your large parts in one setup with less repositioning. The machine’s state-of-the-art motion control system gives operators the capability and flexibility for machine applications large or small.

This new partnership puts more boots on the ground for servicing Flex’s machines through Capital’s service department of 24 factory-trained Service Engineers. The flexibility of Capital’s strategically placed service staff and commitment through “First Call Fix”, delivers value to both Flex Machine Tools customers and Capital Machine’s. Both organizations are very excited about this expansion and look forward to continuing growth within the metal fabrication industry.
