This fiber tube laser utilizes a 2.5D torch with focus detection, and the programmable angle of the B-Axis enables bevel cutting of the material thickness providing for improved welding, multi-tube assembly, fit and finish.

Mazak’s OPTIPLEX 3015 FIBER III 10KW is a 2D flying optics laser-cutting system that utilizes an innovative control and drive package to deliver high performance for fabrication job shops and production environments. Equipped with sensors in the Multi-Control Torch, piercing and cutting operations are monitored to improve throughput and part quality. If an anomaly is detected, the operation is adjusted or paused to automatically achieve effective cutting conditions.
