October 21, 2020 - Rex-Cut Abrasives, Fall River, Massachusetts, is expanding their popular Sigma Grinding Wheel line by introducing Sigma Z, a high-performance grinding wheel for stainless steel, carbon steel, mild steel, titanium, and alloys. Sigma Z is manufactured with the proprietary Sigma bond and 100 percent premium grain that enables it to grind faster and last longer than its original Sigma counterparts.

Sigma Z has 2 times the stock removal rate on stainless steel compared to Sigma Max and as for life, this new wheel outlasts Sigma Max by 30%.

Engineered to be aggressive on metal and easy on the operator, Sigma Z is precision balanced for a noticeably chatter free and quiet operation. This composition allows for Sigma Z to out preform most ceramic and engineered grains while leaving an RA finish of 190 on stainless steel.
