April 21, 2020 - Orbital wrapper manufacturer TAB Industries, LLC, Reading, Pennsylvania, has introduced dual control boxes on its fully automated TAB Wrapper Tornado Perfect Storm wrapping systems. Offered as an option, the dual control boxes are set on both sides of the wrapping machine to allow safe, quick, convenient access when operating in manual mode without requiring movement around the length of the system's built-in conveyors. The dual control box option speeds and eases film roll changes while also offering extra configuration flexibility, allowing the system to fit neatly into existing packaging and shipping processes.

The dual, PLC-based control box option features the company's touch-screen, full-color HMI on one side for easy setup and operation, and a manual control box on the other. Enabling one person to manage the entire wrapping process, the TAB Wrapper Tornado Perfect Storm automatically senses the presence of a pallet load ready for wrapping on its conveyor and determines the ideal number of wraps, then feeds, wraps and discharges the pallet load as a stable, unitized load ready for delivery, warehousing or movement in-plant. The breakthrough wrapping machine wraps the plastic film 360 degrees around and under the pallet and its load to secure each pallet load in a protective cocoon in as little as 15 seconds versus minutes for horizontal turntable wrappers.

The TAB Wrapper Tornado Perfect Storm with dual control panels is designed and manufactured in the company's Reading, Pennsylvania, headquarters. The packaging systems are delivered with a warranty tested and inspected ready for installation.
