February 6, 2020 - AIDA-America, Dayton, Ohio, announced that Dale Harshman (above), who joined AIDA-America’s mechanical assembly team in March of 2016, has been promoted to team leader, mechanical assembly. He is now responsible for providing on the job training and direction to mechanical assemblers and mechanical assembler trainees. In his new role, Dale also coordinates with other internal departments to assure all parts required for assembly are accounted for and leads in equipment assembly, ensuring that all equipment meets customers’ specifications.
Gustavo Canchola (above) was recently hired as the AIDA de Mexico general manager. He will utilize several years of experience as the general manager for a capital equipment supplier in his new role to supervise all administrative functions and processes at the AIDA de Mexico office. Gustavo is also responsible for leading the service and spare parts sales teams in their world class support and technical solutions for AIDA customers in Mexico.
Leslie Bastress (above), who joined AIDA-America’s sales department in July of 2015, has been promoted to inside sales support, service parts. In her new position, Leslie will issue new replacement parts quotes to our customers for stamping presses, transfer systems, material feeders, and control systems, as well as parts quotes for die clampers, die cushions, slide knock-outs, conveyors, moving bolsters, and load monitors. She will also answer customers’ parts questions and process their parts orders.
Steve Mirrlees was recently hired as the AIDA Canada customer service manager. He has more than 17 years of service and maintenance team management experience, including 13 years of prior stamping press service management at AIDA Canada. Steve is responsible for managing the AIDA Canada office and administrative functions in his new role, as well as supervising installation, training, and repair jobs for AIDA customers in Canada, ensuring that they receive world class service.
