December 2019 - Fabricator Michael Deeter, Von Deeter Studio, modified this classic 1976 Hondamatic 750 into a western steampunk bike over a period of two years in his Las Vegas custom fabrication shop. This custom motorcycle has a two-speed transmission, no clutch, with a torque converter and a suicide shift lever made from 1930 Model A Ford parts. Deeter wrapped the bike in copper and brass parts and cut and modified scrapped car, truck and other motorcycle parts such as a 1930 Indian seat and 1945 Jeep fenders. The headlight is modified from a 1946 Chevy and the side covers are fabricated from the hood of a 1936 Chevy.
Deeter modified just about everything, including the frame. He added a custom exhaust, then put dirt tires on it. The bike has been seen on the Discovery Channel’s Vegas Rat Rods and has won three different custom motorcycle contests.
