Behringer Saws celebrates 30 years in the U.S.

September 4, 2018 - Behringer Saws Inc. is celebrating its 30th anniversary in the United States. Founded in Germany in 1919, Behringer is a manufacturer of high performance bandsawing machines, circular cold saws and material handling equipment. They provide a variety of world-class sawing products to corporations, service centers, job shops and manufacturers throughout the world. Operating as Behringer Saws Inc., the U.S. operations first opened in Indiana in 1988, later moving to Morgantown, Pennsylvania, and are a subsidiary of the parent company Behringer Gmbh, in Kirchardt, Germany.

In 1995, Behringer outgrew its first facility in Indiana, and moved to a new 50,000 sq. ft. facility in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. Behringer’s showroom provides customers with extensive inventory of sawing equipment and material handling, allowing for immediate delivery and the opportunity to experience the product line in person.

The Behringer Saws Inc. facility has a complete parts and service department accessible for all customers. Behringer’s 12,000 sq. ft. parts department stocks over 54,000 parts, with a state-of-the-art tracking and ordering system designed to get customers what they need fast. Behringer’s highly experienced service team is readily available for customers to help solve any service related issues that arise. Richard Klipp, President of Behringer Saws, said, “We strive to provide the industry benchmark for post-sale parts and service support. With our large investment in stocked parts and factory trained service technicians, we are well positioned to respond quickly.”

With over 85 years in metal saw manufacturing, Behringer has clearly positioned itself as the technological leader in the industry.
