Magswitch Technologies is pleased to announce that Ben Broadhead has joined the company as General Manager, APAC, reporting directly to Stephen De Bever, CEO of Magswitch Technologies. Based in Australia, Ben will lead Magswitch’s commercial growth strategy across the Asia-Pacific region, including Australia and Southeast Asia.
In this role, Ben will be responsible for establishing and scaling Magswitch’s regional presence across fabrication, heavy lift systems, and automation markets. He will oversee regional business development, channel expansion, strategic partnerships, and revenue growth initiatives while supporting the company’s long-term global regionalization strategy.
Ben brings more than 26 years of experience in technical sales, operational leadership, and business development across APAC, the United States, and Europe. Throughout his career, he has successfully led commercial growth initiatives, built high-performing teams, and developed go-to-market strategies for international manufacturers entering and expanding within Australia and New Zealand.
Most recently, Ben served as Technical Sales Manager – APAC for MSA Magnetics, where he led technical sales strategy, managed distribution channels, and drove operational and business development initiatives across industrial and mining sectors. During his tenure, he successfully directed a global supply chain transition that contributed to 31.5% sales growth and secured a national distribution partnership with Blackwoods, expanding market reach across Australia.
Ben also brings extensive leadership experience across global industrial manufacturing and technical sales organizations. His background includes regional market development, channel management, technical consulting, product launches, and strategic sales leadership across manufacturing, industrial, mining, and infrastructure sectors.
