BLM GROUP USA announces the promotion of Matthew Irwin to Product Manager – Tube and Wire Forming Products. In his new role, Irwin will lead product strategy and development for the tube and wire business, collaborating closely with customers and internal teams to drive application solutions and support business growth.
Irwin joined BLM GROUP USA in 2018 as an Applications Engineer. During his eight-year tenure, he has held roles in Project Management and, most recently, served as Product Application Specialist.
“Matt’s extensive knowledge of BLM products, combined with a clear understanding of our operations and values makes him exceptionally well-suited for this new role,” said Robert Adelman, head of product group at BLM GROUP USA. “We are confident that Matt will continue to deliver great value to our customers and bring his outstanding leadership skills to our team.”
Prior to joining BLM GROUP, Irwin helped source and develop a multi-camera inspection system that eliminated quality rejections of completed assemblies, retaining $10M in business.
Irwin holds a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and has completed additional certifications in Microsoft Power Apps and Computer-Aided Design (CAD). He earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Information Systems Security with minors in Software Applications and Web Development from Limestone University. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 4.0 GPA, receiving both the General Excellence Award, given by the faculty to the best all-round member of the senior class and the Mary Wilks Thomas Medal for character and scholarship.
