BLM GROUP USA promoted Jarrod Gunn to Product Specialist – Flat Sheet Laser & Automation. Gunn joined BLM GROUP USA in 2020 as a Senior Applications Engineer – Laser, bringing with him an already established industry reputation in laser cutting technology.
In his new role, Gunn will work closely with the sales team, traveling alongside them to provide high-level product support, deliver internal training and develop new sales tools. His expertise will be instrumental as BLM GROUP continues to expand its flat sheet laser business.
“Jarrod brings nearly 20 years of laser expertise and played a pivotal role in advancing our flat sheet technology to 20kW power levels,” said Robert Adelman, head of product group at BLM GROUP USA. “His deep product knowledge and passion for laser cutting make him ideally positioned to ensure BLM GROUP continues to grow in this area.”
Throughout his career, Gunn has worked as a laser engineer conducting experiments, developing production methods, and analyzing test data using various laser processing equipment. Before joining BLM GROUP, Gunn spent five years on the production side running lasers for a global leader in performance exhaust and emission systems.
