BLM GROUP USA announces that Aaron Carsten has been promoted to Product Manager for its line of tube lasers. Carsten joined BLM GROUP in 2015 and has held a range of positions across the company’s laser applications, training and service teams, most recently serving as Service Manager.
In his new role, Carsten will apply his technical and relationship skills to support all aspects of the tube laser business. His background spanning both the Service and Applications departments, paired with a steady focus on customer relationships, positions him to lead the tube laser product line as BLM GROUP continues to expand.
“Aaron is the right fit for this role because of how he’s built his career, with a decade of experience across our laser service and applications teams, paired with the leadership skills to run a product line,” said Gunar Gossard, Vice President of Sales at BLM GROUP. “That perspective will help our tube laser team grow and keep customer service at the center of everything we do.”
Before joining BLM GROUP, Carsten served as a firefighter in South Bend, Indiana, as well as Linden and Kalamazoo, Michigan. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Western Michigan University.
