February 27, 2019 - Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions, Mason, Ohio, announces the addition of David Iyoha and Courtney Capone to the North American Business Development Team.
Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions is pleased to announce the addition of David Iyoha (pictured) to the North American Business Development Team. Lantek USA’s newly created Manufacturing Software Consultant position is in response to increased demand for their sheet metal solutions.
“David brings a great combination of skills to our team, with a degree in Computer Science and an excellent understanding of the manufacturing industry,” said Adria Haines, Director for Lantek USA. “I’m glad he has decided to join our team as a Manufacturing Software Consultant based in the Cincinnati area. David’s existing presence and network in the Great Lakes region will offer more effective account management services for our growing client base nationwide.”
Iyoha spent twelve years as Chief Sales Officer for Advertising Consultants prior to joining Fortech as Director of Software solutions. “I’ve taken a consultative selling approach in my previous sales experience and I look forward to using the same skills with Lantek,” stated Iyoha. “My passion is helping manufacturers by leveraging technology. The Lantek software and team are a perfect fit both ways.”
This month the US Labor Department announced that in 2018 the manufacturing industry posted the biggest annual job gain in 21 years. Most of the gains occurred in blue-collar durable goods, with growth in fabricated metals. The Great Lakes region (IN, MI, OH, KY, WV, PA and NY) is home to a vast majority of the nation’s manufacturers and their clients who are rapidly moving toward digital manufacturing capabilities. Iyoha’s responsibilities will include new business development for this market, which will greatly benefit from Lantek’s advanced manufacturing solutions.
“Lantek has a 32-year reputation for delivering advanced manufacturing solutions. We’ve worked hard to earn trusted technical partner status with our key accounts,” added Haines. “David’s professional values align with ours; he has a tremendous track record and we’re pleased to have him contributing in new areas of the business that align with our growth strategy.”
Lantek Sheet Metal Solutions is pleased to announce the addition of Courtney Capone (pictured) to the North American Business Development Team. Lantek USA’s latest Sales Manager role is in response to the growing US manufacturing industry and demand for their sheet metal solutions.
Capone has an education in Logistics, Materials and Supply Chain Management plus CNC machine operation experience. She also has strong relationships in the structural steel industry. “I’m glad Courtney has decided to join our team as a Regional Sales Manager based in the Charlotte, NC area,” stated Adria Haines, Director for Lantek USA. “The continued demand for our software and services requires additional support beyond our Cincinnati Headquarters. Courtney’s presence in the Southeast will offer more effective account management services for our growing client base nationwide.”
Capone was project estimator for SteelFab, Inc. in Charlotte, NC for four years prior to joining STRUMIS as a Technical Sales Consultant. “My recent experience in structural steel gives me an opportunity to help expand Lantek’s Flex3d Steelwork client base,” stated Capone. “I look forward to combining my experience in both the metal and software industries to further expand Lantek’s customer base in the Southeast. I am excited to be part of a company that is advancing manufacturing on a global level while offering the best customer service and range of products for manufacturers’ digital transformation.”
Tech hubs throughout the Southeast are seeing a surge in tech development that’s boosting manufacturing employment. Top markets include Orlando, FL and Raleigh, N.C., which boast high-skill workforces and low-cost, business-friendly environments. These traits are desirable in today’s increasingly tech-driven manufacturing processes. Capone will support the Southeast region (AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, SC, TN, and VA) as it rapidly moves toward digital manufacturing. Her responsibilities will include new business development for the market, which is primed to benefit from Lantek’s advanced manufacturing solutions.
“Courtney is a great fit within the Lantek USA team,” added Haines. “Her talent and personality are a big win for our business, as well as our clients. We’re pleased to have her on board, and ready to see her grow our solution base in the Southeast region.”
