July/August 2011 - Butech Bliss, Salem, Ohio, will upgrade an existing Ferragon Corp. cut-to-length line at its FerrouSouth Iuka, Miss., facility. The project includes designing, manufacturing and start-up assistance for a 2,200-ton stretch leveler, scale collection system, hydraulic power unit and the electrical equipment required to integrate the stretch leveling system into an existing cut-to-length line. The equipment will be designed to process hot-rolled carbon steel, HRPO and cold-rolled steel coiled up to a maximum thickness of 1/2 inch by 96 inches wide at 92,500 psi yield strength.
