GF Machining Solutions secures major U.S. aerospace order

June 26, 2017 - GF Machining Solutions LLC, a division of Georg Fischer, has won a significant order from GKN Aerospace New England, Incorporated. The company, located in Manchester, Connecticut, ordered several high-precision milling machine tools, software and automation – all that will be backed with GF Machining Solutions training, service and support.

Shipyard to receive contract for research vessel

May 9, 2017 - Gulf Island Shipyards LLC received a contingent notice of intent to award from Oregon State University to build a Regional Class Research Vessel, with an option for two additional vessels. The 193-foot-long ships will be highly flexible, multi-mission platforms that maximize energy efficient design concepts.
