Product Line Overview

Starrett offers a wide range of band saw blades including Bi-Metal for cutting a variety of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, and Carbide Tipped, which are ideal for cutting extremely hard, abrasive materials. Band saw blades coated with Carbide Grit and Diamond Grit cut abrasive materials with precision, producing an excellent finish. A complete line of Carbon Blades are also available for horizontal and vertical machines with manual or gravity feed.

Bi-metal band saw blades are widely used in metal fabrication and feature Starrett proprietary bi-metal unique® technology which provides 170% more weld contact for superior teeth stripping resistance. bi-metal unique® also enables faster, more efficient cutting and significantly reduced blade fracture and breakage.

Steel services centers experience high productivity cutting solutions when using Starrett Carbide Tipped Band Saw Blades. New Advanz™ MC7 carbide band saw blades offer aggressive sawing and longer life when cutting exotic alloys versus hard materials. The Advanz MC7 design utilizes a progressive four-tooth grind which creates seven distinct chips. The end result is less wear when compared to blades with conventional triple-chip tooth formation.
