November 3, 2015 - Ramsey, New Jersey-based Glebar Co. celebrated the full startup of operations in Ramsey, New Jersey with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and open house at its new and fully integrated, state-of-the-art headquarters and manufacturing facility.
In July, the company announced its move from Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, where it occupied several locations for more than 60 years.
Glebar is a manufactures precision grinding systems including centerless grinders, gauging systems, double disc grinders, and secondary process devices. Demand for its machine systems has increased over the past two years, and employee headcount has grown by more than 65 percent over the same time period. Glebar machines operate in six continents with a significant footprint in Europe and Asia. Key markets include medical, metals, automotive, aerospace, consumer goods and mining.

Glebar has invested in capital equipment and automation improvements for the new 44,560-sq.-ft. facility. Upgraded filtration and ventilation, more efficient power systems and motion controlled LED lighting are some of the environmentally friendly features of the building.
The ribbon-cutting event brings together many of Glebar’s clients, partners and numerous invited guests including the Office of U.S. Senator Cory Booker, Assemblywoman Holly Schepisi, Ramsey Town Councilmembers and members of the Ramsey Chamber of Commerce. Company management and guests will deliver special remarks; participants will be provided a tour of the manufacturing facility.
Glebar's new headquarters is located at 565 East Crescent Ave., Ramsey, in Bergen County, New Jersey.
